My cousin Marc got married in Maryland a couple weeks ago, and since Brian was in the wedding, we decided to make a vacation of it and see as much of the East coast as we could!
We stayed with some friends of ours who happen to be conveniently located between New York and Washington DC, so it wasn't too hard to see both back to back.
Brian and I hopped on a bus at 6:30 am to get to New York City, where we sped around on foot and on subway seeing what we could.
We both decided that next time we go to NYC, we need to dress better... hoodies and jeans just don't cut it.
TOURIST!! hehe.
One of the highlights of the day (at least, for me) was the giant toy store FAO Schwartz. I was dying to buy something, ANYTHING... but luckily I have a husband who is more practical than I.
It was a perfect day - about 75 degrees. This is the only picture of Central Park I got... lame. That was definitely my favorite thing about our trip so I'm not sure why I didn't take any pictures.
Finally at the end of the day we took a subway to Ground Zero and then walked as near to the water as we could so Brian could get a glimpse of the Statue of Liberty.
We had a great time!!
super sweet pictures. It was sooo good to see you guys for a bit while you were here:)
